Weddings are all about journeys and bring people together…
Grace and Patrick’s wedding took place in Kincardine Castle, in Aboyne, in the north of Scotland; home to Grace’s Grandmother. And what a treat was in store for all their guests who’d travelled to be there. Not only did they get to explore the rooms and the grounds of the castle, but as an added surprise, dinner and dancing took place in Tipis (by Highland Tipis), nestled in the walled gardens. To say we loved it doesn’t begin to do it justice!
Grace and Patrick’s wedding oozed with gorgeous details and so much love and attention towards their guests. It didn’t take long after meeting these two to feel as though we’d known them for years. They are both such fab, warm people and it was a pleasure to be their photographers.
Thank you Mr and Mrs Robinson for inviting us to be part of your incredible wedding celebrations. We wouldn’t have missed it for the world.
Here’s a little taster of your dream wedding day. Enjoy.

The tips that were set for dinner were hidden from view by the gardens, so it was a lovely surprise for Grace and Patrick’s guests as the piper led them to dinner.
Could you plan a secret wedding in Edinburgh just a few days before Christmas? Would you be able to keep it from your friends and family? Not sure I’d be able to stop from spilling the beans…quite how Kate and Ian managed at to keep their secret Christmas wedding at The Balmoral Hotel up their sleeve I have no idea. Massive kudos to you.
Cassie and Tom’s Christmas wedding at Mansfield Traquair was a festive celebration of love, laughter and one or two surprises 😉 We knew this was going to be the most epic of weddings, but still we were both blown away by the energy of these two. This is a couple who live and love 100mph and everyone around them adores them.
Barnbougle Castle in autumn literally glows from the inside out. So it was the perfect location for Babette and Lawrie’s wonderful thanksgiving inspired wedding. This pair met 59 months ago, yet fit together so well you can’t imagine them not being a couple.
Fabulous photos as always guys – and nice to see I’m not the only bride who enjoyed her first dance so much she ended up in the air!
