Lesley & Pete’s Wedding, St Leonard’s Parish Church, followed by Rufflets Country House Hotel, St Andrews

We first met Lesley and Pete a number of months ago when they were planning their wedding. We clicked instantly with these two and knew theirs was going to be a really top wedding.

Not only was it held in St Andrews, which is such a special place to us as, but the reception was in Rufflets, (where both Niels’ parents and brothers’ wedding celebrations were) which is a fab spot with gorgeous gardens and great food.

All the incredible thought, care and detail that Lesley and Pete put into their wedding meant that it went fantastically –  from the stunning stationary (loving your handwriting Kirsty!), gorgeous pots of Pete’s mum’s preserve right through to Pete piping his new wife into dinner… All the amazing planning came into it’s own so that no-one even minded the odd dribble or two of indecisive rain.

Mrs and Mrs McLean thank you for inviting us be your photographers. It’s been so much fun getting to know you and we look forward to lots more late night chats about everything from food, to business (and now gorgeous wedding albums!)

Enjoy these highlights and speak very soon!

Real Life Wedding: Dunglass Estate

Alex and Molly are the kind of people who embrace life and all it throws at them. Including what we can only be described as the windiest wedding I think we’ve ever been at (think winds of 50 mph – enough to take out huge stone planters) And the result was a wedding day that was even more magical that anyone could have imagined.

Real Life Wedding: Drumtochty Castle

Their spring wedding was beautiful in spite of the rain (think one of the wettest days ever). Actually it was a little more beautiful because of the rain. As family and friends dashed for cover under mutlicloured brollies there were smile, giggles and lot of togetherness. And what could be better than cosying up in Drumtochty Castle as the wood burners crackle?

As Joe and Elias greeted us (with bear hugs rather than hand shakes) we knew they were our kind of people. The kind of people who make life about the people around them rather than the stuff they have; the kind of people who appreciate the little things; the kind of people who value love. Yup we’d hang out with these two any day of the week.
