VSO dinner at Edinburgh Castle with The Princess Royal, Tuesday 13th July 2010

We are so excited to let you share in this gorgeous intimate wedding… a real treat for us to be a part of… Ever since the first email from Meredith we were hooked on these two…

Meredith and John – what can we say? Despite living on the other side of the world we’ve loved getting to know you two – over email and then in person. And you were every bit (and more) as lovely and genuine as you sounded.

We loved your attitude to your wedding and to braving the Scottish weather, which was verrry windy, wet and cold. We loved that you were so up for being outside and getting some fabby dramatic shots of you two in Edinburgh.

Mary  – we could have taken you home. Thanks for being such a super-star. George – so impressed by how well you were looking after everyone and organising drinks at The New Bell. You rock!

Mere and John thank you for inviting us to be part of your day and for asking us to join you for dinner. We loved being with you throughout the day and getting to know all of you – you made us feel like part of your family. The New Bell Inn was such a perfect spot for your wedding meal and the flowers by Planet Flowers worked beautifully. The atmosphere was simply F.A.B.

Enjoy your blog post and highlights from your very special intimate Scottish wedding. Speak soon,

P.S. Rachel and Rebecca – hope you two are ok and survived your mad adventures on the Cairngorms?!

Niels and Alie, I noticed, and appreciate, that there are no photos of me in this retrospective. All emphasis was where it should on the beautiful bride and the dashing, if aging and slow, groom. 🙂 Thank you for that! I assume you have destroyed those of me having realized that you met your greatest photo challenge yet. Thanks for joining with me as “friend” of the family. It was a pleasure to meet you both and your work is exquisite.
