Vicky & Rory’s Wedding, Hopetoun House, South Queensferry

There’s something really exciting about the first wedding of a new year… and what a fab wedding to kick-off 2011!

Vicky and Rory are such a chilled, fun couple and their wedding day reflected this perfectly. Their smiles are infectious and they clearly know each other so well that they’re just so relaxed together – totally made for each other. Their wedding cermeony was very personal and Vicky’s sister read a fab little love story called “The Love Monkey” by Edward Monkton, which somehow said so much…

“He dreamt of a monkey whose smile lit up his soul like sunshine. He held out his heart to her, so radiant, so splendid and so new. She took him in her arms and he felt truly, perfectly at peace.”

Vicky and Rory thank you for being you and for letting us be a part of your really special winter wedding at Hopetoun House. Your friends and family clearly had so much fun with you two – the atmosphere was great. We loved it! We’re looking forward to catching-up soon and showing you all your photographs. Hope the skiing is lots of fun.

Enjoy lots,

Rory’s bestman, Matt, was loving his new found position of authority, getting a little too enthusiastic with the gavel perhaps?! this bunch were so much fun…

Planet Flowers weaved their usual magic and the black linens looked fab in the Hopetoun ballroom – perfectly offset with the injection of red roses…
