The final Blue Sky wedding of 2012 was Katie and Alastair’s beautiful winter wedding – what a cracking end to the year…
The scene was set for a picture perfect winter wedding, an abundance of candles, the roaring log fires at Archerfield House and goblets of warm mulled wine – a treat for all.
Katie and Alastair – we had a great day with you and your friends and family – your wedding party rocked!
Looking forward to seeing you in the coming days. Till then, here’s a flavour of your day…
Katie & Alastair celebrated their wedding, with a little bit of help from:
Church – Aberlady Parish Church
Venue – Archerfield House
Photographer – Blue Sky Photography
Katie’s Wedding Dress – Philippa Lepley
Katie’s Wedding Shoes – Christian Louboutin
Make-up Artist/Hairdresser – Roo Maurice
Bridesmaids’ Hairdresser – Alex Ednie of Meka
Florist – Vicky Davidson, Secret Gardens, Direlton
Entertainment during drinks reception – The Ritz Trio Band
Band – Callanish Music
These two were among the few who set a wedding date for 2020 and stuck to it. Yes the plans changed slightly along the way (think plan A, plan B…) but in the end celebrating their wedding in the spectacular Barnbougle Castle with their closest family and friends was nothing short of perfect and they wouldn’t have changed a thing.
To say Alie and I had been holding out for this wedding would be an understatement… Emily and Cammy you know how much we adore you (and your families). You two are so clearly meant to be. The world is, without question, a lighter, brighter and more brilliant place for you two being in it.
There has to be something even more special about a wedding day that has been re-scheduled several times. We love how, despite the plans having changed lots throughout the last few months, the one thing Catrin and David were sure about was that they want to get married.
