Fiona & Alan’s Wedding, The Coo Cathedral, Aboyne

An exciting part of our job is visting new places we’ve never been to before and being at this wedding in The Coo Cathedral in Aboyne was such a treat for us – we loved it!

This is truly a fantastic wedding of a really special couple. We knew from when we first met you (and Niels found out that you once worked in John Lewis Fiona) that we were going to hit it off with you two.

Fi and Al you two rock and we had so much fun and laughed (and cried) with you so much with you throughout your whole wedding day. It felt like we were at the wedding of good friends. From your ceremony to your speeches I don’t think there was a dry eye in the house (except perhaps Matt’s and even this is questionable!). The love between you two and you friends and family is so evident and so genuine.

You put so much thought and care into your wedding and looked after your guests so well… and even surprised them with a pipe band!

There are soo many highlights for us and here’s a few for now. Hope Bognor Regis is all you hoped for Fiona?!

Speak soon, A & N x

These are BRILLIANT — you've really captured the magical, loving and unconventional nature of a beautiful day. My favourites are: Fiona smiling at the alter, with her sister out of focus and Alan's shoulders, and Alan's portrait.

Alex and Molly are the kind of people who embrace life and all it throws at them. Including what we can only be described as the windiest wedding I think we’ve ever been at (think winds of 50 mph – enough to take out huge stone planters) And the result was a wedding day that was even more magical that anyone could have imagined.

Their spring wedding was beautiful in spite of the rain (think one of the wettest days ever). Actually it was a little more beautiful because of the rain. As family and friends dashed for cover under mutlicloured brollies there were smile, giggles and lot of togetherness. And what could be better than cosying up in Drumtochty Castle as the wood burners crackle?

As Joe and Elias greeted us (with bear hugs rather than hand shakes) we knew they were our kind of people. The kind of people who make life about the people around them rather than the stuff they have; the kind of people who appreciate the little things; the kind of people who value love. Yup we’d hang out with these two any day of the week.
